Bustle Tip: Discuss your Gown Budget

An important tip to pass onto all brides is to discuss your gown budget before attending your bridal appointments. You will feel more comfortable entering your gown appointment knowing that your consultant is on the same page as you. If you or someone else is paying for your dream gown, it's always a good idea to have an estimate of how much you'd like to spend. Discussing and setting your dress budget will help make your "Yes to the dress!" moment even more special! 1. Once you have set a budget for your dress, inform your bridal consultant. Withholding any information may actually come to hurt your appointment when you end up with a gown that surpasses your budget. Our bridal consultants at The Bustle are very mindful of whatever budget you may have to help you find a gown you love; whether its is $1,000 or $9,000. 2. Most brides pass up great boutiques because of it's location. Research the area, and don't be afraid to set up an appointment. The myth that you won't be able to find a gown in your budget because the location is expensive, is untrue. There are bridal shops that carry gowns in all price ranges. For example, The Bustle has special order gowns for a brand new dress starting at around $1,200. We even have beautiful sample gowns priced from $599 to the $1,000 range. 3. Last but not least, be prepared for the payment process. You'd be surprised at how many times brides go into appointment thinking they're just shopping, and they end up finding their gown during the appointment!! (: It's such an exciting moment, so just remember to come prepared because things happen when they're least expected! (:   summer-Bouquets-1-620x930
