Our Bride, Tessa!

Our bride, Tessa was kind enough to share one of the sweetest videos of her and her father her wedding.  Aside from looking gorgeous in her beautiful wedding gown, Tessa and her dad pulled off one of the most amazing father-daughter dances ever! Here's the story straight from the bride herself: " Thank you so much for the dress of my dreams and to Angie making this dress work with 10 bustles!!...It’s hard to believe that a week ago today, we all sat around our tables, saying what we are thankful for. I have never once, in my father’s 11 plus year diagnoses, been thankful for his Parkinson’s Disease. Why would I? It has stripped him of most daily activities that we take for granted....It wasn’t until I got engaged and realized that the dream of a father daughter dance was most likely unrealistic. It literally broke my heart and I became angrier than ever at my father’s disease. What I didn’t realize was that I DID have control over how I chose to face the ramifications of what Parkinson’s has done to my father.  I could choose to be angry as hell or be thankful.  Thankful for the opportunity to spend more time with my father than I usually would, endlessly practicing different ways to make a dance work.  And so, it is with this message that I am so truly blessed and humbled to share with you my father’s hard work, dedication and optimism in a life so often shadowed by the darkness of Parkinson’s. " Congratulations to a gorgeous bride- we think you and your dad have some great moves!
