Get Your Make Up On!!

Every bride wants to look absolutely gorgeous, sexy, confident, and happy on their wedding day.  Your make up plays a big part.  If you have the right color eyeshadow or the perfect shimmering lip gloss to help make your favorite features pop, our job is done! The best advice I have ever heard about preparing for your make up trial is to go through all wedding magazines (even though you might be sick of them by now!) and look for models with your skin tone and hair color.  If you have blond hair look for every girl with blond hair and then focus on her skin color.  Try to find girls that kind of match you.  It is the best way to see what might work on a blond (all other hair colors and skin tones-same thing).  Rip out all of those and then see what would fit the feel you are going for.  Do you want a big bold red lip? Or soft sades of pink for a more natural look? Day time wedding or night time wedding? Ask yourself all of these questions to prep for your trial.  Ask the stylist what they think might work best out of all your options and feel free to try as many different looks within your trial time.

I have heard stories that when the day of your wedding arrives you might expect to get touch ups or products for later on after the stylist is done for the day.  Sadly most do not even give out mini samples of the lipstick or bronzer that they used.  Sometimes they might even ask you "would you like to purchase it today?"  That's not something you need to be planning or thinking about when there are so many more important things you need to address.  To avoid any confusion, when your trial comes around, ask the stylist then.  You can purchase anything they use and then you can re-do your gorgeous look after your wedding day anytime! This also gives the stylist enough time to buy everything you might need or want for that day to keep.  Everyone can be totally prepared for your important day, and you get to have amazing professional make up products! Win! :)
