Wedding Gown Silhouettes

Finding the perfect wedding dress begins with finding the right shape for your body. There are five basic gown shapes, including trumpet, mermaid, sheath, a-line, and ball gown. Once you've narrowed down to one silhouette, deciding on a combination of materials and details is easy! At The Bustle, our bridal stylists will help you find the right fit for your wedding day. Click here to make an appointment today!

Trumpet This is a fitted style that begins flaring out just below the hips. It shows off your curves enough while still giving you enough walking space to dance the night away!

Mermaid This style is great for brides who want something a little more dramatic to show off their curves! It's more fitted than a trumpet fit, and begins flaring out at the knee or lower.

Sheath This is slim fitting style perfect for brides who want a sleek and effortless look! It hugs your body head to toe, and is a great silhouette for wanting to elongate your figure.

A-line This is universally flattering on every figure! It's fitted at the bodice to show of the smallest part of your waist, and flares out from there. It looks especially great on brides who want to conceal their fuller hips, or for brides with a sporty figure who want to create the illusion of curves.

Ball Gown  This shape is fitted at the bodice, with a dramatic full skirt. If you love this look, go for it! Where else besides your wedding can you dress like a princess? :)

Our Bride, Emily!

Emily and Kevin are married! We can't even stand how adorable these two lovebirds look on their big day.  Their smiles alone are enough to light up the whole room! Kevin looked so dapper in his blue suit, and Emily stole the show in her moscato and ivory colored tulle ballgown with a delicate lace bodice and encrusted crystal belt! We are totally in love with their whole look and how it represents their fun personalities! Congrats to the happy couple! Our Bride, Danielle!

Here to brighten our Monday is our beautiful bride Danielle! She said yes to a romantic Stella York lace gown from The Bustle.  We're swooning over the delicate lace detailing on the straps! It was the first dress, and the favorite the moment she put it on. Congratulations again Danielle, we hope your wedding was everything you wanted and more! Our Bride, Stephanie!

Our bride Stephanie looked stunning wearing a trumpet satin gown, and accessories from The Bustle. Details of her Stella York gown include a sweetheart neckline, with beautiful drapery throughout her gown. She sent us such kind words and it's a reminder of how much we love doing what we do! Bustle Tip: Discuss your Gown Budget

An important tip to pass onto all brides is to discuss your gown budget before attending your bridal appointments. You will feel more comfortable entering your gown appointment knowing that your consultant is on the same page as you. If you or someone else is paying for your dream gown, it's always a good idea to have an estimate of how much you'd like to spend. Discussing and setting your dress budget will help make your "Yes to the dress!" moment even more special! 1. Once you have set a budget for your dress, inform your bridal consultant. Withholding any information may actually come to hurt your appointment when you end up with a gown that surpasses your budget. Our bridal consultants at The Bustle are very mindful of whatever budget you may have to help you find a gown you love; whether its is $1,000 or $9,000. 2. Most brides pass up great boutiques because of it's location. Research the area, and don't be afraid to set up an appointment. The myth that you won't be able to find a gown in your budget because the location is expensive, is untrue. There are bridal shops that carry gowns in all price ranges. For example, The Bustle has special order gowns for a brand new dress starting at around $1,200. We even have beautiful sample gowns priced from $599 to the $1,000 range. 3. Last but not least, be prepared for the payment process. You'd be surprised at how many times brides go into appointment thinking they're just shopping, and they end up finding their gown during the appointment!! (: It's such an exciting moment, so just remember to come prepared because things happen when they're least expected! (:   summer-Bouquets-1-620x930

The ultimate bridal experience only at The Bustle!

We know there are some brides who may be tempted to shop online or in department stores, but what they don't realize is that there's so much more than to just finding a gown they love. Wedding dress shopping is a special occassion that creates memories at a bridal boutique. Here at The Bustle, we give each and every one of our brides the ultimate gown shopping experience where they're treated like a queen! (: Yes, online shopping may be quick and convenient, but The Bustle caters to all brides, and gives a once in a life time experience that will be unforgettable. Our brides are automatically greeted even before they walk inside the shop! Each bride, along with their friends and family are happily greeted as they enter our boutique and are treated to champagne and delicious cakes. Not only do brides have the ability to browse through beautiful gowns during their private appointment, but they have the freedom to ask our bridal consultants any questions that may arise. Online shopping doesn't compare or even come close to physically seeing a gown or accessory you love. You're able to feel fabrics, see an entire look for your wedding day, and not have to worry about something turning out differently than how you saw it online. When brides are researching wedding gowns, they need to be more aware and careful of the source. They might find an awesome deal with a dress priced very low, but they might not be able to verify the gown's authenticity. Our bridal consultants are there to help guide brides through the entire gown process from styling to alterations, and of course to find their dream wedding gown! Our brides don't have to stress about finding a place to do alterations because we offer them in house, and coordinate all scheduling dates to make sure they're on track for their wedding date. Let us be apart of your special day, because The Bustle will accomodate anything you may need, and to make your wedding vision a reality<3
